Unlike another Canadian series, Global Television’s Bomb Girls, starring Oscar-nominated actress Meg Tilly, is more Air Force than Farce…
A fact demonstrated in the press shots for the series, which sees the cast paying serious homage to the ladies who worked the munitions factories throughout the Second World War. I intended to include something like, “not only are these girls da bomb,” but decided that a witticism as whopping as such needed to be shared with the series’ writers directly - second series tag line perhaps? Special mention should be made of designer Rob McNeil and art director Munro Cullen, whose peerless work made sure everything was both authentic and aesthetically-pleasing. Bomb Girls will air as a six part series, premiering January 4th, on Global TV.
